Brake Fluid

Brake fluid is one of the most important fluids in your vehicle because it’s the liquid link between your brake master cylinder/anti-lock brake (ABS) system and the brake calipers that actually stop the wheels from turning. Keeping the braking system in top condition is an absolute must.

Brake Fluid Issues
Brake fluid is a non-petroleum-based product. This means that it can absorb moisture from the air, which can diminish the effectiveness of the system and ultimately your ability to stop your vehicle. In addition, sludge can build up within the brake system that can lead to braking part failure, leaking brake calipers or wheel cylinders and blocked valves inside the ABS system. Any of these could lead to costly brake repairs or the need for replacement parts.
